Welcome To Saskatoon Avionics
Since our inception in 1985 Saskatoon Avionics has seen many changes, with the most notable being the addition of two Hangars offering over 15000 sq ft of hangar space. In 2012 we expanded our services by adding Aircraft Maintenance to our AMO in order to support a local flying school and the general aviation community. The addition of maintenance has allowed Saskatoon Avionics to become a one stop maintenance provider reducing downtime and keeping your aircraft flying. In 2018 our second location was opened in St. Andrews Manitoba providing Avionics line maintenance and installations. The St. Andrews location has allowed us to build on our existing relationships throughout Central Canada while developing new relationships with both the general aviation community and commercial operators.
Whether you are a private pilot or commercial operator, Saskatoon Avionics has you covered as a leading provider in avionics and aircraft technology. Great, Honest Crew!
Saskatoon Avionics provides excellent service and quality workmanship on all of Missinippi’s fleet of aircraft, and has done so for a number of years. Saskatoon recently completed an extensive avionics upgrade on three of our King Air 200s, for example, with the installations of dual Garmin 600 TXi systems and dual Garmin 650 GPS systems, along with an upgraded WXR and new S-Tec Genesys 2100 Autopilot system. We are very pleased with these new systems on our aircraft, and are very pleased at how well Saskatoon stayed within their estimated costs and turn-around-times.
Ryan McGinn and his team of AMEs are true professionals. For instance, I much appreciate their helping my AMEs over-the-phone at trouble-shooting avionics defects we encounter on our different aircraft. Likewise, I recently completed an AMO QA audit on Saskatoon, and I was very pleased by the results of the audit; Ryan runs a tight ship. Furthermore, with Saskatoon expanding in its presence in to Manitoba at St. Andrews Airport, this is extremely beneficial for me to have such solid avionics capability so close at hand for Missinippi’s aircraft needs.
